Leo Baeck Institute Yearbook logo

Publisher: Berghahn Journals

The publication of the Leo Baeck Institute, founded in 1955 for the study of the history and culture of German-speaking Central European Jewry.

Its articles cover cultural, economic, political, social and religious history as well as the impact of antisemitism and the Jewish responses to it. The Year Book 's classified bibliography is regarded as being of unique value for researchers and students. It is in no small measure due to the Year Book 's editors and its international contributors, Jewish and non -Jewish alike, and the consistently high quality of its volumes, that the study of Central European Jewry from early modern times to the postwar period, and its historical influence in Europe and elsewhere, flourishes.
